These are a big hit at the ball field.. cheap material (you get what you pay for) and longer than I expected (which I'm not mad about... don't need to see anyone's butt cheeks at a 7 year old's baseball game).I originally bought one size larger. For good price. Only complaint is the baseball logo isn't that visible. It's covered by strings from denim from shorts. But fit and look and fit good. Very comfy.I haven't worn shorts in years because of my weight loss. I have extra skin on my legs. I put some self tanning on them and it gives me just enough self confidence to wear this shorts. They are made just big enough also not to tight. Love the little pathes. It gives the shorts such character. I'm 55 and weight 140 4'5 and got a size medium. I feel like I look pretty good in them and yes I would by more. They are cute and comfortable and a good price. If you feel like you're having doubts ..don't... Buy one pair you want reget it.I’m a size 12. So, I Purchased a size large which is listed as being comparable to a size 12/14. It’s way too small and fits like a size 10. Otherwise the material feels soft. I can’t tell you about it’s wearability until I can get an appropriate size.
