Medium seems more like an XS/S. Jeans are definitely sturdy (no stretch) and seem good quality so I will be ordering another pair in a larger size, but pay close attention to sizing. Maybe it’s my fault because I’m used to jeans that stretch, but these really seem like they are on the small side for a medium.I’m still figuring out if I bought these pants because I’m having a mid life crisis or if I just wanted my daughters to think I was cool (is that the same thing?). Anyways. They’re super cute but I’m 39 and holy…these things are long. I’m 5’2 got the extra large and I’m afraid if I’m not wearing 7-10 inch heels I might trip and fall down the stairs. But also if I was wearing 7-10 inch heels I’d also fall down the stairs. I think I’ll just give them to one of my kids.I am 5”5 3/4” and am a spoon/pear shape body. I fluctuate between 145-150 lbs. muscled body.I’ve got an a** but thinner waist, so finding jeans that properly fit me is a nightmare. The waist ALWAYS has to be taken in or the waist is fine, but the area around my butt looks questionable.Not with these! These fit perfectly on my body the first time I put them on and after! And the slits in the front are really cute. Perfect for a more grunge or edgy look :)The jeans fit perfectly at the waist and on my bottom. They are tight above the knees and flare out a little towards the ankle. I am tall (5'10") so the size large gave me the perfect length.However, when I went to pick something off the ground, the hole on one of the knees ripped much bigger, which indicates the material is not the best quality.slightly smaller/tighter than expected. besides that good length and good qualityThese pants are not stretchy at all. They don’t claim to be I’m just letting you know that there’s no stretch to them. I don’t know my waist size by inches but I ordered a medium and I can’t button the button. But they fit perfectly everywhere else. Scared to get a large because I think it might be too big. Overall really love the pantsI like these jeans for the look, they’re good! They look great when you’re standing and even have a couple of inches of looseness at the waist. But..they’re really tight in the waist and when you sit down you can feel pretty significant pressure on your crotch. So I think they run a little small. I don’t think a bigger size would look as cute standing up and not sure if they’d even be more comfortable because since I’ve had them I’ve lost 5-10lbs and they’re still too tight for sitting down comfortably.These are the kind of jeans you have to break in and rarely wash, when you do wash you want to do it on cold and hang dry otherwise they’ll shrink right back up to where they were (maybe smaller, I haven’t tried). These aren’t tight on my hips yay just the waist and crotch (which is weird).Quality seems good! I think any rigid denim is going to be thick sturdy material and these definitely are.Rise is just under the belly button.Length is good for sneakers or low heels (5’7)Back pockets are narrow, fits my iPhone 12 mini but any larger would be a squeeze.For reference I got a large and I’m 5’6.5” 150 28.5” waist and 39” low hip. Hourglass shaped.Buy these!! So cute , comfortable & true to size. Received so many compliments.Fi a little small so ordered in medium. 5’6’’ 140lb. Overall cute for summer although the denim wash is quite liteDisappointed in the cost to ship back..may have donated or kept them in hindsightGot two pairs for my daughters, size S and M.
