I love that the material used feels like denim, and not a thin material like a lot of these jeans are made of nowadays that fall apart after only a few washes. It has some structure to it and don't feel like those "one size fits all" stretch leggings. Which brings me to my next point. I ordered a pair a size up from my usual, because I gained a few pounds during the lockdown, and someone in the Q&A section said they don't stretch too much. That was not the case for me or my experience. While the 9 fit me ok, it was a bit too loose for my taste. There is no point to butt lifting if the jeans don't hug your curves to hold you in/up. So I got the 7 instead. They are comfy and have a good stretch to them so you don't feel constrained or stuffed. For reference, I tend to have wider hips and a bubble butt with a smaller waist in proportion, so I'd rather go for a smaller size that doesn't leave gaps or pocket lumps around the torso area, while hugging the hips/thighs and butt area. Someone shaped different, or someone looking for a looser fit may appreciate a different fit.
